She read it over again, folded it and slipped it into a white envelop. I hope when I give it to him tomorrow it won’t be too late, she said to herself and dropped the envelop inside her handbag.

“It’s obvious nothing is going to happen between us. I have to move on with my life.

I can’t continue waiting for someone to break up with her boyfriend just to be with me. In as much as I love this girl, I have to move on.

I have tried and now I think it’s time to take a long walk” he said to himself.

Since his serious lectures usually end on Wednesdays, he packed few of his clothing and decided to take two weeks off school to get her off his mind and move on. It was a really a perfect time to do this for him owing to the fact that he will be out of contact because of his lost phone.

As he got all set to leave his room, there was a knock on his door. Opening the door, he was surprised by the sight that greeted him. He stood dazed at the door and just as he was about to backup and close the door, he heard the loud bang and felt the severe pain before he passed out. The last picture on his mind as he drifted away was that of two guys on hood, with one brandishing a gun and holding it to his face, KC.
