Must Read: My Office, My Clients And My Career

When i got to UK, i applied for my masters and did some
professional courses, i put N10M in fixed deposit in Nigeria and
used the remaining money for my upkeep….I got a Job with a
multinational tech giant in the UK after two years there and was
transferred to our office here in Nigeria. I was given an apartment
in Lekki and an official car too….I finally got my groove back. I
heard Lovelyn got married to a guy and relocated to the US with
her husband, Mrs Juliet also relocated to the US after the death of
her husband in a plane crash and thats where she’s staying up till
now.
I was in shoprite one Sunday afternoon trying to get some stuff for
my house when i heard a voice discussing with someone behind
me…the voice sounds familiar, i looked back and it was
BJ…………….We hugged each other for like a mins and
everybody there was just looking at us………..we decided to to
relax somewhere with drinks
BJ:so, what happened to you and where have you been….
Me:you heard about what happened now, how TY fired me
BJ:yeah…so i heard and it almost led to something else between
us but i was wondering how he knows cos he never knew that the
pregnancy was not his
Me:i guess it was your cousin Tayo who had access to your phone
that told him but thats bygone sha
BJ:so, what happened afterwards
Me:with the little money i had with me, i travelled to UK for my
masters, also did some professional exams and it was from there i
got a job with the company am working with presently now……
BJ:which company
Me:XYZ ………………….




BJ: waoh…..that means you are now a big boy ooooo
Me:Big boi indeed…No matter how big I am, you gave me the
platform to be big..so, I will forever be your boy
BJ:lolzz…you are not serious……….How about your wife?
Me:Wife ke? I don’t have a wife yet ooo…did u c any ring on my
hand?
BJ:u never marry, are u still tasting them? U are old enough
now………………..
Me:well am still waiting for the right person that will love me the
way i am just like the way you loved me
BJ:hmmmmm…i hear u..
Me:What about you, where is your ring, how’s Nifemi and TY and i
suppose u should have a baby now
BJ:hmmmmmm…..NIfemi is fine and i don’t have any junior one
for her still yet
Me:wetyn happened…TY not doing it very well..where is he self
BJ:TY……………………we divorced
Me:What…………What happened
BJ:lemme start from the beginning, TY dad and my Dad were
business partners and TY started working for us immediately he
finished from the university, in other to expand their business
activities and foster their relationship, they forced us to marry
each other against my wish…my mum was dead so, dat was the
only person i know and i couldn’t go against his wish after so
many pressure. Me and TY never stayed a month together living
under the same roof before we married and after we married not
until i had that our baby (still birth) and I even lost our baby due to
the stress I went through during the last week before my delivery, I
was beaten mercilessly by TY a day to my delivery day cos we
had minor issue in the house…..I stepped down from my position
and he took over the helm of affairs of the company and within
3months, business started crumbling and clients were not giving
us business again…all company funds spent lavishly on
unnecessary things…..he beat me up on any small issues we had,
he disgraced me outside and did so many things to me, the worst
of it all was putting Tayo in the family way and things got
complicated when they were trying to abort a pregnancy which led
to Tayo’s death….i filled for divorce against my fathers wish and
it was granted with me taking custody of Nifemi, i travelled to
Ghana afterwards and spent 6months there for everytyn to cool
down before coming back to the country and settle down here in
lekki doing my own business small small
Me:hey yah….so sorry, u went through all these…….where is TY
now….
BJ: He’s in jail serving 15years jail term
Me:why, what happened
BJ: he had a shaddy deal with the MD and some Directors of one
of our client and defrauded the organization with over N200M..they
were caught and sentence to jail couple with the fact that he was
charged for possession of fire arms and drugs…I thank God he’s
totally out of my life, i just wish i could turn back the hands of time
and change how things was…………………….
Me: how about other guys working with the organization…Tolu,
Bayo, Akin and Co…
BJ: My bothers took over the company and things are going on
well again…
Me:Thats good
BJ:Akin and Tolu were caught bleeping each other in the office and
were fired (very funny)..that was the last thing i heard about
them…..Femi and Bayo too are no more in the company but am
still in touch with some of them sha…………..
Me:and how about the man in your life now
BJ:Man….me Man, sincerely i don’t have time for that
again….you showed me how to fall in love, you showed me what
love is all about, you make me feel like a woman…ever since u
left my life, i never deem it necessary to give another guy a space
in my life again couple with what TY did to me………..




Me:uhmmmmm…….sincerely i never deem it fit to give my heart
to another person too……over the past five years, u are the only
lady have fallen in love with and deep down my heart i still love
you just like the way it was and i find it hard to fall in love with
another person….i love you so much BJ
BJ:I love you too snakie….i love you so much……i couldn’t stop
thinking of you and the moment we had together
Me:Pls gimme some few minutes, am coming pls lemme use the
rest room
BJ:ohk……
I left the place and tried to locate a grocery store, i bought a ring,
package it very well inside my pocket..i went back to where we
are………i called the attention of people and said so many
beautiful things and proposed to BJ on the spot..she was
speechless as everybody around was shouting YES….YES….YES
she started crying as she collected the ring from me and i put it on
her finger…everybody clapped for us and wish us well..it was a
full crowd
BJ:u cant stop surprising me, thank u so much baby
Me:u worth more than that baby
BJ:But do u think it will work?
Me:How?
BJ:Our age difference, Nifemi, Our families………………………….



Me:remember what you told me, age is just a number, the most
important thing is the true love that exist between us……We will
explain things to Nifemi and am sure she will understand and as
for our families, i don’t have problem with my own side as we are
allowed to take our own decision that we deem best to us, they
always stand by any decision individual of us make, it now depend
on your own family now
BJ:am sure my dad wont want to interfere in my affairs
again…………..
Me:lets just put everytyn in prayer for God to guide us
through………..
BJ:God is already with us baby……….
Me:Amen
BJ:do u know something
Me:whats that?
BJ:i was reluctant coming to this place
Me:You see the way God surprise us………
BJ:abi ooo(we both laughed it off)
We did our coded introduction three months after and God blessed
us with twins (boys) within a year..we have been living happily
ever since then, business flourishing and have never for once
regretted marrying BJ.
For my d!ckson, No outside runs, no side chicks, no sugar
mummies and no quickies whatsoever again
