LONDON

“I want my husband, where’s he” Yvonne said to the doctor
“Madam, please be patient, he’ll be here soon”
“We have to take you to the delivery room” another doctor said
”No, I want my husband to go with me, he said he’ll be here today” she said angrily and suddenly noticed water rolling down her legs
“O my God” she said looking at her legs
“Get us a wheel chair now” the doctor yelled and a nurse came with it and she was moved into the delivery room
As she was in labor she kept saying
“I want my husband”
“Where is Daniel?”
“I want to see him”
“Please relax, be calm” the doctor said
In 3minutes she gave birth to a boy but the doctor noticed a second one
“Wait there’s a second one” he said and in another 3 minutes she gave birth to a girl
News came to the doctor that Daniel Ross’s name was among the flight that crashed on its way to London. They didn’t inform Yvonne so they waited for Doctor Robert who was a friend to Daniel to pass the info. After 11:00am Robert walked in Yvonne’s ward with good and bad news
“Hi”
“Hey, Robert”
“Congratulation on your delivery” he said smiling
“Thank you” she replied.


Doctor Robert was quiet
“Where’s my husband” asked him, he was still silent
“Robert don’t tell me he has not arrived cus he promised me, am going to break his head if he doesn’t come today” she said but he was still silent, he stood up and walked to the babies cot and carried them up and gave it to her. She looked confused
“What are you doing?” she asked collecting her babies
“Yvonne there was a plane crash and eermm…”he paused
“Wait don’t tell me he was in it” she said in a low tone
“His name was on the list of those on board”.
Tears ran down her eyes immediately and dropped on the fore head of the baby boy as stared at his mother.
“My husband was not on that plane” she said closing her eyes
“Yvonne I’m sorry, but he’s dead”
“Hell no, he’s not!!!” she yelled
“Please calm down” he said holding her
“Let me go” she said
Then suddenly there was a strong ground shake and immediately Yvonne and her babies were pulled out of the building by a light. Robert jumped to the floor with fear and ran out of the room shouting “Aliens! Aliens!! Aliens!!!”……………..



Daniel knows a lot about forest, he quickly grabbed the young girl & dived into a river & slowly moved until he got to a safe place & came out with the girl as she struggled
“Leave me alone” she shouted at him
He was not surprised, he didn’t mind as he deeped his hand into his pocket & brought his phone which was water proof & dialed Dr. Robert’s number
“Hello Doc”
“Who is this?”
“It’s me Daniel”
“What I… I thought you were dead?
“I missed the flight”
“O my God, thank goodness”
“Where is my wife I want to speak to her if she is still on earth?”
“Actually I don’t understand what’s happening here, the streets are chaotic, and your wife was pulled away by some kind of electromagnetic force with her babies” doctor said
Daniel hanged up & smiled to himself & said “she has been raptured”
“What are you saying” Ada asked
“You and I just missed rapture” he replied
“What the Fork are you talking about?”
“You just have to come with me” he said
“In your dreams, I have to find my friend”
“She’s dead”
“How did you know” she asked
“I saw everything, what you girls did & how you took the bodies into the bush” he said, Ada quickly brought out a knife & wanted to stab Daniel, but he held her by the wrist, twisted her hand in a way that made her scream as she dropped the knife in pain & started crying.


He picked up the knife & broke it
“Kids ought not to play with dangerous objects” he said & walked away.
“Am not a kid, am 28” but he didn’t say anything as he walked away. Ada looked around and decided to follow him.
“I’m sorry” she said as she ran to meet him
“You didn’t offend me” he said without looking at her, still walking
“I acted stupid back there” she said walking with him in the forest
“Yeah real stupid; by the way, what were you doing with those bodies” he asked while using his hand to clear the bushes so as to make way
“That’s none of your business” she said angrily
He stopped and looked at her
“Are you for real? I can always take you to the police station you know” he threatened.
She got scared and decided to kick him between his thighs and run away but he caught her leg and gave her a push on the face and she fell
“If you try anything stupid again I will break one part of your body” he said and adjusted the gun on his shoulder and walked away. She quickly followed him
“Please am sorry, don’t tell the police” she said holding his hand and kneeling down; he stopped, looked at her and replied “no problem” and continued walking as she ran after him
“Just like that?” she asked
“Yeah? Or you want to keep begging?” he said still walking
They were silent after walking in an unknown forest for over 45 minutes
“Am tired” she said sitting on the floor
“Ok, let’s rest here” he said and sat down with her. She began to like him and was staring at him when he turned and saw her she quickly turned her face, he smiled
“so tell me about yourself” he said
She was silent and pretended she didn’t hear him
“Hellooo?” he tried calling her attention
“Sorry, what did you say?” she asked turning to face him
He looked at her holding her wrist as she felt the pain in it
“am sorry about the wrist” he said looking at her, she couldn’t hold her gaze on him as she felt tears forming in her eyes she quickly turned away and started crying
He felt pity and guilt; he moved close to her and held her
“Am sorry, it’s ok I wouldn’t do that again” he said
She lowered her crying tone
“Am also so sorry for the way I acted” she said sobbing, he was quiet as he held her
“You know what? I have been misled by friends, my life is a total mess, I was callow about life, it made me vulnerable and unfortunately I hooked up with the wrong friends, thanks to them I became a cultist. I would have been better if I was wise. I killed my friend today for no just reason; the girl you saw with me was a cult member. I really regret my life; I don’t even know what to do if I leave this forest. Please help me I don’t want to die” she said crying
“The world is at its very end, we should worry about heaven now” he said stroking her hair
“What do you mean?” she said raising her head
“Do you know what is happening in the world now?”
“No I don’t”
“Rapture” he said looking at her….





Daniel’s phone rang it was Mr. Henry one of his executives in his company.
“Hello Henry
“Hello sir, where are you?”
“Am in some forest I don’t know”
“My God, sir all security lasers have been activated throughout the company walls as terrorist are killing people including soldiers. Sir, can you tell us where you are so we can send some military convoy to you”
“Henry I have no idea I……” his phone battery went flat as he wanted to complete his statement.
“Damn battery low” he said angrily
“Is that an android” Ada asked
“Yes it is” he said trying to check the battery
“You can have my battery, I use that type too” she said & brought out a battery from her back pocket.
“Thank you” he collected the battery
Just then they heard sounds of footsteps moving fast, he quickly took her and they hid themselves in the bushes, he noticed soldiers passing but was silent
“We must keep moving”


They left their hiding; they walked but Daniel turned and noticed she was in pain because of her broken wrist. He was sorry for that
“Sorry about your arm, let me help you” he said holding her hand, he quickly adjusted the bone which made her scream out in pain. And the shout drew attentions
“Who is that?”
“Who is there, don’t move or I’ll shoot” Daniel quickly took her out of the environment; they walked for hours and stopped again when it was 5:00pm
“Please let’s rest” she begged and sat down; he sat with her
“Where are we going?” she asked
“Am looking for the main road”
Then suddenly they heard the sound of a thriller’s horn; POOOOM! POOOOM!!
He got up immediately, we are close to the road; he said looking around. He helped her up and they walked out to the express, he saw a car approaching, he waved and the driver stopped
“Please I need you to take us to Lekki” he said resting on the window.

“Le… kini, where be that?” the driver looked confused
“As in Lekki Lagos” Ada added
“Come, see na Oyo state be this ooo” he said and wanted to drive away
“Ok wait. Please take us to Lekki” Daniel said
“Oga see I no fit ooo”
“Ok I will pay you any amount”
“I know dey drive go Lagos na Oyo state I dey drive”
“I will give you #100,000” the driver heard this but couldn’t believe it
“You be ritualist”
“Look am serious, do you want it or not”
“Ok oya enter”
“Thank you” they said
The sun appeared so big as it sets at horizon, it made the sky appear dark orange, the wind coming in from the window made Ada feel like she shouldn’t come out of the car again and was Ok with Daniel
“Oga wetin una dey do for bush?”
“Will you mind your business and driver” Ada interrupted
“Sorry ooo”
“It’s ok, don’t be harsh on him”
“He should concentrate rather than talk” Ada said and eyed the driver
“You know I don’t even know your name” Daniel said from the front sit and turned to look at Ada
She was not expecting that question, it scared her a little
“Ada” that was all she could say. Daniel was silent for about 5 seconds maybe waiting for her to say other names but she didn’t.


“Ok” he said and was silent
Ahead of them was a check point, but Daniel was not sure they should stop
“I don’t think you should stop”
“Haaaa Oga I no won die ooo”
“Hey stop the car” a voice said in front of the car, they stopped
“Where are you coming from?” a man with a gun said
“Na from inside village ooo” the driver said in fear
“Na who you carry there” the man said bending to see their faces
“Na this man and him wife” he replied. Ada wanted to laugh but held herself
“Hey fine girl come outside” the man said to Ada. Who froze instantly with fear
“She is going nowhere” Daniel replied; the man laughed and cocked his gun and his men did the same
“Now all of you step out of the car and empty your pocket”
“Haaaa beg we no get anything” the driver begged
“Shut up and out”
“Don’t step out of the car” Daniel said
Just then a thriller was coming from behind on high speed which distracted the robbers.
The driver quickly started the car and drove off but they fired bullets at them but they got away.
