Just after driving 30 blocks away, there was another road block ahead of them
“O no, what do we do?” Ada said
“Relax, I’ll handle it” Daniel said
“Stop” a soldier said standing in front of them, and then moved to the driver of the first truck
“Where are the two trucks going?” he asked
“We are moving them to the airport”
“Who are they?”
“Prisoners”
“Who’s in the second truck?”
“He’s with me and why all these questions?” Daniel said boldly now Ada was scared
“Well, just to be sure”
“Huh”
“And why are they all black except you?” the soldier said, those words pricked Ada and she started sweating
“Do you have a problem with that? O sorry are you xenophobic?” Daniel said to the soldier, he laughed out loud
“Checked, let them pass” he said still laughing
They were so excited after the passed
“That was close” Ada said putting her hand on her chest
“Not close enough” Daniel said
“Waw, that was so smart”
“Thank you”
“I thought we couldn’t make it” Rita said
They drove on until they got underneath the bridge and saw a dark tunnel. They all stepped out and walked to the mouth of the tunnel and stood there
“Well?” Mark said
“They should be here any minute from now” Daniel said
They waited for over 15 mins but nothing came out
“Ok, I’ll go in to check” Ada said carrying a gun
“Am coming with you” Rita and Elizabeth said. They both went in. after about 10mins, there was no sign of Ada and Rita
“I think we should go check on them” Mark said
“No, wait” Daniel said looking around
“What’s the problem?” Biola said
“This place is too quiet” Daniel said
“Well, it should be, no one’s here except us” Mark said. Suddenly a missile hit one of the trucks and it exploded, they immediately ran into the tunnel, they kept running until they got to the part where the tunnel was divided into two; the way they came from kept going straight, while the other one went right. They turned right…………

“Ezio I think we have missed the way” Martha said but Ezio was quiet
“I think we should stop” Marcus said and touched Ezio who brought out a knife and stabbed his arm. They became scared and pointed their guns to Ezio
“What are you doing?” Martha said
“What is this?” Henry said
“There’s no need to point your guns you are all surrounded” Ezio said, soldiers quickly came out of hole with guns
“Drop all your weapons” the soldiers ordered they obeyed. The soldiers moved them out of the tunnel into a truck. 10mins later Ada, Rita and Elizabeth arrived there breathing heavily after running awhile
“This is the end of this part of the tunnel but still no one” Ada said
“Then where could they be?” Rita said
“Ezio has betrayed us” Daniel said coming with Biola and Mark
“How do you mean?” Rita said
Daniel moved to the exit they took and looked at the floor
“Look, these are soldier truck tire tracks and over here are our persons foot prints being forced and here are soldiers’ boots prints, and you can see that the car tracks go that way” Daniel said pointing to the north.
“I wonder where they are being taken to” Ada said
“What do we do now?” Mark said
“I have a plan, but first we need a car” Daniel said
“Look at that green car over there” Ada said pointing
“Wait, I think they know we are here and are after us. That car is a trap” Daniel said
“How sure are you?” Mark said
“Come on, he has never been wrong” Ada said
“Look at that car closely, it was neatly parked, no stains despite all burning cars around, doesn’t look dusty, no bullet marks and you think it’s safe” Elizabeth said
“She’s right” Ada said
“What do we do now” Mark said
“Something is not right here, I think there’s a marks man somewhere around here” Daniel said
“You mean a sniper” Mark said
“Yeah”
“What if I run across the road” Biola said
“That’s suicide” Daniel said
“How about we try to locate his position” Ada said
That’s true” Daniel said. He picked up a hat on the floor, looked at it for a while and got the idea
“Yes I got it. I need to raise this hat up so that he can mistake it for a head and shot at it then I can detect his position” Daniel said and picked up a rod, putted it under the hat and raised it half way above the car they were hiding behind. He shot at the hat and gave away hit position
“He is in the east” Daniel said
“Yes I see him” Mark said
“Good, now mark shoot at him to distract him so I can run and get the car over here” Daniel said and then Mark shot at the sniper and he hid, immediately Daniel ran towards the car and got in, opened the ignition box and started the car. Mark shot at the sniper again; Daniel drove the 6 sitter car over and got them in and they moved out
“Ezio what’s going on here?” Martha asked from the back seat
“Shut the Fork up” a soldier said
“Am only trying to save you all from this your foolishness” Ezio said
“What do you mean? Marcus asked
“Can’t you see? Daniel Ross is making a fool of you all and himself, where are you guys running to? He gave you all guns; does he think he stands a chance in this war?” Ezio said and the soldiers laughed
At this moment, Marcus, Martha, Henry, Sha-sha, Ajayi, and Jane felt ashamed and embarrassed
Suddenly the car stopped and they were brought out and moved into the back of an army thriller
“We are going to die?” Martha said crying
“No we are not” Marcus said
“You wouldn’t die if you get the registration number but if you refuse you’d be forced to” a soldier said
“What number?” Marcus asked
“You’ll find out when you get to America”
“America?!!” Henry asked surprised
“Yes we are going to the airport” the soldier said
“Am not leaving here without Daniel Ross” Jane spoke out
“O Sweetie are you his girlfriend?” a soldier said and they laughed
She immediately stood up and ran to the open end of the truck and jumped out before the could do a thing
“No, Jane” Henry shouted
The soldier were surprised
“She’s got guts. Don’t worry she’s dead” a soldier said
Martha was crying “Why did you do that, Jane”
“Is there anyone else who would like to go for a high jump? The soldier asked and they laughed
“You are next” Sha-sha said looking at the talkative soldier. They stopped laughing and looked at him
“And what’s that suppose to mean?” the soldier said walking towards Sha-sha. He was quiet and didn’t say anything.
They turned right and headed to Jerusalem Airport
