They kept talking and chatting until suddenly there was a loud sound like a beast roaring, they all stopped talking
“What was that?’ Biola asked
“I hope it’s not those crab women” Mark said
“No Its not” Jason said. Just then a Nemean Lion came into the cave; they all jumped up in fear
“Jesus Christ” Jason said and ran back. Everyone ran back towards the passage into the chambers except Daniel and Kent
“Don’t stay there you can’t kill it, it will kill you” Jerry shouted but Daniel and Kent stood there; they looked at each other
“Throw me the rock over there” Daniel asked Kent and he did. They moved in two different ways left and right; the lion watched them and then roared, it dived for Kent, Kent stood his ground as the lion dived on him but it’s weight pushed him down. Meanwhile, Zoe, Ada, Jane, and Olivia were screaming and shouting
“No Kent”
“Run away”
“Leave him alone!”
“Daniel do something” they kept shouting.
Daniel threw the stone at the lion and it broke to pieces, the lion got pissed at Daniel, so it left Kent and came for him. The lion ran towards him and he ran towards the lion; the lion dived at him; he ducked and rolled under the lion making the lion miss him. It immediately turned to him again and jumped at him, he felt stronger than the lion immediately it landed on him, he held it’s head away from his face, the lion wounded his arm with it’s claws; immediately he heard a voice saying to him”Strangle it”, he immediately bent his head over the lion’s right upper foot and locked it’s head from behind. He was on top of the lion but the lion tried to get him off it’s back by rolling it’s back on the floor but he didn’t go off, he held strongly onto the lion’s neck for the next 60seconds until the lion was calm, then he knew it was dead; he got off the lion and la!d on the floor looking up; he was bleeding on his upper left arm.

He turned to look at the others; they were all silent as they stared at him with surprised. Kent walked over to him and stretched his arm to him and Daniel received it and Kent helped him up
“Thank you” Kent said to him. He was silent
“You’re welcome” he said calmly. Jason and the others came to meet him
“that was unbelievable, you are awesome” Jason said smiling
“Please don’t start, Jason” Daniel said walking away to sit
“No seriously, that was unbelievable” Jason said following him
“Jason, stop it for God sake. What’s wrong with you? He just fought for his life and our liives” Olivia said
“What? What did I do?” Jason said
“Just shut up” Olivia said
“Kent and Daniel, you guys are great. You just saved our lives” Jerry said
“Thank you” Olivia said smiling at Daniel who smiled back
“Thank you” Jerry said, everyone was appreciative except Mark who walked away into his chamber. Olivia got out their med kit and treated his arm
The night went on till everyone went into their chambers.

The moon wasn’t shining so bright at night; about half a mile away from the cave lays a small house occupied by a very ugly old man who had an unimaginably beautiful woman as a slave. He is known as master Rody; he happens to be a very wicked man who catches beautiful female women who come to the Island, he charms them and make them his slave and after 3years of their service to him, he sleeps with them and they get pregnant after they give birth, they die and he sacrifices the child to the god of the island so as to spare his life. He has been doing this for over 70years and that’s what keeps him alive. He is responsible for the crashes that occur to those who get stranded on the island, which is why he gets a lot of beautiful women. It’s been three years and it’s time for him to make love to his slave
“Milan!” he called out to the beautiful slave girl
“Yes master Rody”
“The time has come for you to bear my child” he said smiling as the girl wept, she has always wept but there was nothing she could do
“Please I don’t want to bear your child, don’t do this to me” she said crying
“Quiet!! You will bear my child” He said angrily and she was quiet. She knew she couldn’t resist any order from him even if she wants to, the magic was very strong
“I want you to go gather berries and a rabbit, so we can feast before we make love” His smile revealed his ugly brown set of teeth. She immediately carried a basket for the berries and a bow and arrow for the rabbit
“Don’t you come back her until you get the items”
“Yes master” she replied with a sad face. She knew she was going out to suffer since it was late at night……….
