Victor Boniface one win away from winning Bundesliga title with Leverkusen
Super Eagles striker, Victor Boniface, is set to lift the Bundesliga title with Bayer Leverkusen this season.
Boniface was a substitute as they beat Union Berlin 1-0 on Saturday.
Florian Wirtz scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot.
Bayern Munich threw away a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 at Heidenheim.
These results mean Leverkusen are now 16 points clear of Bayern at the top of the table.
Xabi Alonso’s Leverkusen now need just one more victory to be confirmed German champions for the first time in the club’s history.
