Obaje delighted to reclaim top spot

The forward says they need to maintain a good run of form if they want to remain at the summit of the NPFL log

Wikki Tourist regained top spot after Enugu Rangers drew 1-1 draw with Lobi Stars and Godwin Obaje is hoping to his side remain at the summit for the rest of the season.

The Bauchi Elephant's goal poacher, who has now hit the back of the net 14 times this term revealed that Wikki will not lose the top spot again till the end of the season.


"Our target now is to keep on wining and getting good results to maintain our position and we are prepared for it and we hope to continue till the end of the season.

"I am happy to be back to my scoring form after some times now but as I will always say; I don't have any target, I just want to keep on scoring as much as possible and see how many goals I will have at the end.

The most important thing to me is that we should keep on winning even when I don't get to score."
