Adedipe hails win over Rivers United

The Owena Waves' midfielder was delighted to secure maximum points against title-chasing Eguma's men on Saturday

Sunshine Stars maintained sixth spot on the table after they secured a 1-0 win over Rivers United and Samson Adedipe has revealed that a fresh target has been set.

"Thank to the Lord for the victory, it was a tough game regarding their position on the log," Samson told Goal.

"But we are always battle ready and more determined because of the point we lost away at Makurdi to Nasarawa United last weekend, so we had to rely heavily on team play to secure the maximum points which has brought smile to the faces of our passionate fans.

"For a team that was third on the log , they are a good side so it made the game more interesting but now, a fresh target has been set and that's leave Ibadan with all the points when face Shooting Stars in our next match, may God help us."
