Scary: See The 20 Things Fayose Predicts Will Happen In 2016 Under President Buhari

Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, has painted a grim future
for Nigerians under President Muhammadu Buhari in the coming year.
Mr. Fayose, who has been a thorn in the flesh of the Buhari
administration from the day it was inaugurated, predicted more sufferings
for Nigerians, increased Boko Haram terrorist attacks, job losses,
industrial unrests and rampant human rights abuses among others.
In a statement he personally signed yesterday, Governor Fayose listed
20 things that Nigerians should anticipate under the Buhari-led
government in 2016.
“Fellow Nigerians, I want you to take note of the followings that will
unavoidably happen under the Buhari-led government in 2016”, he
stated.
On what to expect in the labour sector, the Ekiti governor said “There
will be so much industrial unrest, especially in the first quarter of the
year”.
“There will be removal of fuel subsidy and petrol (PMS) will sell
over and above N100/litre, leaving the masses in more serious
hardship. Product will not be available and long queue in petrol
stations will persist throughout the first quarter of 2016 and beyond”,
Fayose predicted, adding “Power generation will drop to the lowest
ebb. Still, Federal Government will increase tariff in 2016”.
He further stated that unemployment will worsen under the APC-led
government as millions of jobs will be lost in 2016, contrary to the
projection by the government that it will create three million jobs
annually.
“Most States and Federal Government will retrench workers as evident
in the over 2,000 Federal University workers already sacked”, he
added.
On what to look out for in the economy next year, Mr. Fayose said
“Most private owned middle-class businesses will fold up because of
bad economic policies of the Buhari-led government.
“The Naira will continue to have a free fall which will take it to as
low as N320 to one Dollar.
“The Buhari-led FG will have no solution to country’s economic
problems”.
On the war against insurgency, the governor said “Boko Haram will
keep spreading and the Shiite Muslims will get more emboldened” while
human rights abuses and disobedience to court orders will be the order
of the day, giving rise to dictatorship.
The tenth thing on the list he said would happen in 2016 under Buhari
that he wants Nigerians to take note of is the anti-corruption war, which
he predicted would be marred by insincerity, adding “the fight will not
only be selective and political, but targeted more at Southerners”.
He also warned that attempts to “forcefully control any of the South
South States of Akwa Ibom, Rivers and Bayelsa by the APC” in 2016
will lead to unprecedented deaths.
With the 2016 budget estimate presented to a joint sitting of the National
Assembly on Tuesday predicated on an oil benchmark of $38/barrel,
Governor Fayose said “Crude oil price will fall to below and about
$30 per barrel”.
On what to look out for with regards to the media, the anointed “leader
of opposition governors” said the masses, especially those in the media
profession, will revolt against the FG’s plot to deny Nigerians of
their rights to freedom of expression.
“There will wide condemnations by Nigerians and the International
community against President Buhari’s human rights abuses and
disobedience to court orders”, he said.
He also harped on the plot to unseat Dr. Bukola Saraki as Senate
President, saying in 2016, the plot will not only fail, “but will
heat the polity”.
Alluding to a newspaper headline where President Buhari was quoted as
advising Nigerians to brace up for more hardships in 2016, Governor
Fayose said “this obviously negates the change Nigerians voted for”.
On the purported plot by the APC to take control of at least one
South South state, the governor warned that the move will lead to
death of many people particularly in Rivers and Akwa Ibom States,
where he predicted re-run elections would hold in 2016.
The ghost of Halliburton scandal, he noted, may be revisited in 2016
just as he predicted that the court will sack Kogi State Governor-elect,
Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
On the January 9 supplementary election in Southern Ijaw local
government area of Bayelsa State, Gov. Fayose said the PDP candidate
and incumbent Governor Seriake d!ckson will win the poll just as he
predicted victory for embattled Governor of Taraba State, Arc. Darius
Ishaku at the Court.
