OFFICIAL: Chelsea starlet kasey Palmer joins Huddersfield town on loan

The 19-year-old midfielder is yet to make a first-team appearance with the Blues but will spend next season in the Championship after agreeing a season-long deal.

Chelsea starlet Kasey Palmer has joined Huddersfield Town on loan for the 2016-17 campaign.

The 19-year-old is yet to make an appearance for the Blues but was part of two of their match day squads towards the end of last season.

He will now look to gain first-team experience in the Championship under David Wagner, the Huddersfield boss who was previously Jurgen Klopp's assistant.

"I believe we can help Kasey make the next step in his career and send him back to Chelsea a better player," Wagner told Huddersfield's official website.

"He is a very skilful player with good football intelligence and we now have the time to work hard with him in training to help him understand our identity on the pitch."

Palmer, an attacking midfielder, won the Toulon Tournament with England's Under-21 side in May.
