Buhari Will Take Nigeria To Greater Heights – PDP’s Tony Anenih

Many of the politicians we know as AGIP – any government in power – have started praising the candidate of the APC, Muhammadu Buhari for defeating incumbent president Goodluck Jonathan.

One of them is the chairman of Board of Trustees of the PDP, Chief Tony Anenih. He has said that with the election of General Buhari during the March 28 election, there was hope that the administration of the new President-elect would take Nigeriato greater heights.

Anenih in a statement titled, “Marching on with Hope”, urged those who might still be aggrieved
by the outcome of the March 28 Presidential Election to emulate the selflessness and magnanimity of President Goodluck Jonathan who conceded victory.Anenih, congratulated Buhari on his victory and hailed Jonathan’s statesmanship in conceding defeat.

“I congratulate the President-Elect, General Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, on his victory. Nigerians are expecting great things from him; it is my hope that he will take this great country to greater heights in the journey towards our manifest destiny.”

“The presidential poll, in which the incumbent President lost to the opposition, has become a source of pride to Nigeria. It has portrayed to the world that democracy in Nigeria compares to the best anywhere.”
