Popular Actor Suffering Kidney Failure, Leo Mezie To Be Flown Abroad For Dialysis

Leo Mezie, the nollywood actor who has been bedridden while still hoping that well-meaning Nigerians will come to his aide to raise money for his kidney transplant will soon be flown abroad.

The actor had been bearing the cost burden alone but he has since come publicly to solicit for funds as his medical treatment has left him with little or nothing to survive.

Leo who goes through his dialysis every week is now in dare need of money to maintain that dialysis considering the fact that the amount needed for his transplant is not close to completion.

His colleagues that have been supporting and monitoring his treatment in the hospital, have disclosed that the actor might be flown abroad in some days time to see how he could be catered for as the cost of having dialysis in Nigeria is very expensive.

Leo Mezie has been staying in the hospital for some time now as he cannot go from home anymore and has been surviving with the token that has been realized.

With the unstable way of the Dollars in the market, there have been fears that the needed amount might not be enough. The actor has only been surviving through prayers as he is in great hopes that Nigerians will come to his aide.

The actor has been supported by his colleagues such as Rita Dominic, Yvonne Jegede, Chioma Okoye amongst others, who visit him regularly.
They have also seeked the support of other well meaning Nigerians, stating that the N10 million needed has not been fully realise, as only N6 million has been raised and the actor is only making do with the little available so as to be able to stay alive till when the needed health comes. Traveling abroad for dialysis is a means of trying to manage the situation a bit considering how expensive it has been for him to sustain it in Nigeria.

Leo Mezie has openly thanked everyone that has been supporting him as he prays to get through this life ordeal with songs of praises.
