Suicide Bomber Kills 16 In A Maiduguri Mosque

At least 16 persons were killed and many others injured on Saturday in Maiduguri, Borno State capital when a suicide bomber blew up himself in a mosque near the town’s main market, officials said.


Borno State governor Ibrahim Shettima, who was at the scene few hours after it occurred, was informed that 16 persons died in the blast, while several others that sustained severe injuries were rushed to the hospital.
