D’Tigers’ Lawal undergoes surgery

Barcelona Lassa star, Shane Lawal, has undergone surgery after missing D’Tigers game against Lithuania at the ongoing Olympic Games in Rio, Brazil.
Lawal suffered a complete rupture of his patellar tendon, in the first game against Argentina.

He took to his Instagram page, to reveal that he has gone under the knife.


“I want to thank everybody that has contacted me in the last fews days, frome the bottom of my heart I say thank you,” Lawal wrote.

“I suffered a complete rupture of my patellar tendon in the first quarter of the match against Argentina. Surgery the next day.”

“This is another test of faith I will bounce back. 2016 has been a rough year but I will bounce back.”
