Arsene Wenger Hits Back At “Ridiculous” Gary Neville Over Tactics Jibe
Manager Arsene Wenger has claimed that he will continue to tolerate Gary Neville’s accessments on Arsenal – even if they are “really ridiculous”.
The ex-Manchester United defender previously questioned the Gunners’ mentality in the build-up to big games, and suggested that tactics did not play a big role in Wenger’s preparation.
The North Londoners went on to beat the Red Devils 3-0 two days later following a rip-roaring first 20 minutes at the Emirates, and Wenger – in his 19th year as Arsenal manager – believes that his longevity speaks for itself.
“We just turn up on Saturday, just go out and play,” the Frenchman is quoted as saying by The Mirror.

“Honestly, I am 30 years in this job. I have a good tolerance level to sometimes listen to things that are really ridiculous. Honestly. I can do it.”
Wenger’s men, who sit second in the Premier League table, two points behind Manchester City, face Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday evening .
