Manchester United want Mourinho to stay for next 10 years

Manchester United are looking to tie down Jose Mourinho for the next decade.

Mourinho has never stayed at a club for more than three years, but United chiefs want the 53-year-old to break that jinx at Old Trafford.

Although the Portuguese has overseen the worst start to a season for 27 years the Premier League outfit feel they finally have the best replacement for Sir Alex Ferguson.

David Moyes and Louis van Gaal had been hired after Ferguson retired, but have left after underwhelming seasons.

Mourinho, who was sacked for a second time by Chelsea last December signed a three-year contract with United last summer, to replace Van Gaal.

Results have also improved in the last few weeks, with United unbeaten in their last 10 games in all competitions.
