I’ll spill my blood for Afcon 2015 ticket - Raheem Lawal

Nigeria midfielder Raheem Lawalhas vowed to do all it takes to ensure the Super Eagles feature in next year’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The Super Eagles are third in Group A of the qualifying rounds and must win their remaining two games against Congo and South Africa to stand a chance of defending their title in next year.
The African champions face Congo in a make or break encounter in Pointe-Noire on November 15.
According to the Eskisehierspor player, getting an invite to represent the country is a great honour for him and he has promised not to let the team down.

"I always feel proud representing my country and I want to assure Nigerians of my best in the games against Congo and South Africa,” Lawal toldGoal.
"My ambition is to play at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations and I’m ready to spill my blood to ensure we get a ticket to defend the title we won last year.
"I'm aware of the tough task that lies ahead of us against Congo in Pointe Noire, but I’m sure the rest of my teammates are aware of this and we are going there to ensure we secure maximum points before plotting the fall of South Africa in Uyo."
Head coach of Congo national team, Claude Le Roy had boasted that his side would ruin Nigeria's hopes of qualifying for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations when they visit Pointe Noire this weekend but the former Flying Eagles star has dismissed the Frenchman’s threat.
"He is the head coach of the Congolese and definitely he would hope his side come out tops but the game will be decided after 90 minutes and not by what anyone says.
When asked about his view on coach Stephen Keshi’s return to lead the squad after his dismissal following the last game against Sudan, Lawal stated: "Having coach Keshi back as the national team gaffer is a very great news.
"This is a morale booster as we approach the crunch games of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
"We are ready to play for him towards ensuring his stay as Nigeria handler for years to come,” he concluded.
