Militants blow up major crude oil pipeline in Delta
Militant group, Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate, NDGJM, has reportedly blown up a major crude oil delivery line belonging to the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company, NPDC, in Delta State.
Spokesman of the group, Aldo Agbalaja in a statement on Monday, said the attack was carried out on Sunday at about 11: 30pm around Ekuigbo, Ughelli North Local Government Area of the state.
Agbalaja also frowned at the use of military to guard oil facilities in the region, describing it as a “waste of resources.”
Recall that the group had on September 13 2016 claimed responsibility for an attack on a crude oil pipeline belonging to Nigeria Petroleum Development Company, NPDC, also in Delta State.
