RUMOURS: Arsenal plan Icardi bid

The Gunners are still holding out for Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette, but see the Inter captain as the best alternative if they are unable to secure a deal for the French forward

Arsenal are planning a £50 million bid for Inter striker Mauro Icardi if they fail to sign Alexandre Lacazette, according to theDaily Star.

The Gunners' first-choice is Lyon forward Lacazette, though they have already seen one bid rejected for the French forward.


And they see Icardi as the ideal alternative, though they face competiton from Napoli to sign the Argentine.
