A Mexican wrestler has died following a tragic accident which occurred when he attempted performing a dangerous stunt.


The video of the final moments prior to his death was captured and shared online. It shows the trained wrestler standing on the top wrestling ring rope while his opponent lay on the floor outside the ring. The wrestler then performed a front flip from the top rope with the aim of landing on his opponent but he miscalculated and landed on his opponent before falling, head first on the hard concrete floor.

When paramedics arrived, he was bleeding and they carried him away on a stretcher. He reportedly fractured his skull during the landing and later died in hospital.
