The VinylKid - NDA ft Nasty C

We don’t know much about this Vinyl Kid aka Asad Abrahams, but according to his soundcloud page; he is based in Johannesburg, South Africa and he started out on Virtual DJ which allowed him to take his music to several house parties, matric balls and clubs around the Western Cape.

The Vinyl Kid has subsequently completed a year-long course, studying Music Production & Audio Engineering at the Soul Candi Institute of Music in 2012 and was lucky enough to have DJ Costa (Of “Bump” fame) as his mentor, showing him the ropes and building the fundamentals needed to become a great DJ.

Currently, The Vinyl Kid is producing his own tracks that he will introduce to the industry through his DJ’ing and he lists his influences as: DJ Fresh, Euphonik, Black Coffee and Roger Goode, Deadmau5, Skrillex, Avicii, Afrojack, Swedish House Mafia, Madeon and DJ Mustard.

Today, he debuts a new joint with the hottest kid rapper in SA – Nasty C. The trappy single titled NDA is definitely worth a listen.
