Ibrahimovic admits handball for Pogba’s goal against Crystal Palace

Manchester United striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has admitted he might have handled the ball, in the build-up to Paul Pogba’s goal against Crystal Palace.

Just before half time, Juan Mata’s free-kick seemed to come off Ibrahimovic’s arm onto Pogba’s path, for the France international to open scoring.

TV replays appeared to confirm this, with Pogba standing in an offside position too.

When asked after the game if he handled the ball, Ibrahimovic told BT Sport: “Could be, could be.

“I tried to pass to Paul as I saw he was free and I think it touched my hand first then my stomach. I will have to see the images.”

Palace levelled in the second half through James McArthur, but Ibrahimovic netted the winner with three minutes left.
