Update: Newly Married Man's Leg Amputated After He was Mistakenly Shot By Two Policemen Fighting in Abuja (Graphic Photos)

We brought you a story some days ago how a newly married man identified as Kingsley was mistakenly shot by a police officer who was fighting another officer in Abuja. The victim who begged for justice on social media after he was abandoned has now had his leg amputated over the incident.

Huldah Lynns-Ihetuge first shared the story before it was picked up by a Facebook user, Amanda Chisom who made the revelation that the man's leg was amputated as the stray bullet had caused severe damage to the victim's leg. She posted these photos with the caption:

"Huldah Lynns-Ihetuge

What was this young boy’s offence? Kingsley just got married barely 5 weeks ago!!!! He just went to Exclusive stores Wuse 2 Abuja to shop on the 18th of October, where two police men fighting with their guns shot him on the leg.One of the police men is Akpabio Daniel of maitama division. Now the doctors are insisting the leg must be amputated.

Please let this matter get to the IG ASAP, this poor boy’s leg must not be amputated and those Police men must not go free."
