Nasarawa United 2-1 Wikki Tourists: Abdulkadir late strike stuns Maikaba's men

Wikki Tourists bowed 2-1 to Nasarawa United and missed the opportunity of returning to the Nigeria Professional Football League summit.

Goals from Esosa Igbinoba and Amuni Abdulkadir handed the Solid Miners a hard-earned victory after Abdullahi Alhassan gave the visitors a first half lead.

Tourists goalkeeper, Emeka Nwabulu was forced to make a fine save off Thomas Zenke’s effort in the 16th minute.

And after a troubled moment for the hosts’ backline, Alhassan put the visitors ahead before the half time break.

After several missing several scoring chances early in the second half, the Solid Miners equalised through Igbinoba courtesy of a well taken free-kick with Abdulkadir sealing the win in the closing seconds of the entertaining game.
