Yaoundé rapper/producer Jovi comes through with a dual hitter for the weekend. First up, the Cameroonian MC is sharing the black-and-white visuals for “Big Vulture,” his Igbo sermon-sampling single alongside New Bell Music label co-founder and singer RCHL. The Ndukong-directed music video features sleek, superimposed shots of Jovi performing his joint backed by a fired up dancer. Jovi’s also dropped the free Kankwe Vol. 2 EP (a follow-up to Vol. 1), its a dark 5-track collection of booming hip-hop tunes that include “Big Vulture,” “CASH” and “Et P8 Koi,” a song that tackles cultural stereotypes in Cameroon. Watch the visuals for “Big Vulture,” plus stream and download Kankwe Vol. 2 below.
Jovi’s sophomore full-length Mboko God is due later this year.
