Must Read: Cancer

We spent 3 days at the Emergency unit of Lasuth after which we were discharged. All unused drips, injections where given back to us, I was amazed by the accountability of the doctors.



After being discharged, mama came home for three days before returning to villa.


Well, grandma didn’t relent in her pursuit of happiness for mama, she had to travel to Ikorodu to go see one Baba, Tos followed and she said it was a terrible experience. Tos said she was stripped down and was bathed for, while several incartations and incisions where inscribed on her.


When they got back home, Mama told grandma she wasn’t going to anywhere again that she’s tired of all that’s been done to her.


Grandma became furious, and spoke angrily.

I and Dad had to go there and make peace between them.

I payed JK a visit, and as usual we had romp of s*x that day.

School resumed and I was a little buoyant this time around, I paid my fees and still had little change. JK came back and I noticed there was something different about her, she was hiding her calls and was looking different. Well the day I arrived, we had two wonderful round of s*x. After a week, I noticed she was spitting around the house, so I called her and asked her what is happening. She confessed that she was pregnant and that it was a guy in Ibadan that was responsible. A month later, my house rent was due, and Dave had packed out finally, so it was on me to pay the rent but alas, I was cashless. So I had to pack my load to scout with KC in his place.

Well, Mama sickness had taking a new turn again, Grandma had to consult her Alfas in Ilorin, and she was told to bring her over. Mama came to ilorin with Tos, she spent 3weeks there, I visited her with some of my friends and I told her I wasn’t in support of he coming here, then she said
Mama: tee, do you think I like all these, do u think I like what they are doing on my behalf, do you think I have a choice, what choice do I have left, am helpless tee, am at everyone’s mercy, wherever am tossed that’s where I go. Tee am dying, am in pains. What do you want me to do.


I was just weeping, I couldn’t control myself, I apologised to her and made to leave.

After JK, I decide to go on a s*x leave, and so I became celibate. Kc and his neighbours, Josh, jerome, Navi,don and Ms all made me a laughing stock, teasing me about my act of celibacy I was called Arsene Wenger cause according to them I haven’t won any trophy in 6 months.

Fast forward
I was in my finals now, and mama had been sick for over four years now, even grandma was tired and she had abandoned her to her fate. Well at this point, the sickness has taken a new dimension.


Now the b0s0m had totally decayed, now Maggots do come out from the b0s0m, Now mama poo, urinate and eat on the same spot, she was lean to the bone. After my first semester break, I payed her a visit, to my surprise mama couldn’t recognise me anymore, the room was stinking of faeces and urine, I moved close to the bed and lifted her head and place it on my laps, her head was as light as a paper, she was empty, at this junction I knew the end was near. She later spoke to me, albeit like someone whose is being told the words to say by some spirits. I left her place and cried for two whole days.


I went to the Redemption Camp, I prayed and told God to please take her life and save her from this pain, if He knows he won’t heal her.


The church had abandoned her
Family members also
We were left to our fate, broke, indebted and shattered.
