“Dead man talking, what the hell does that mean?” mark said
“He’s dead” Daniel said and turned to see the girls listening
“We are going to die” Rita said in fear
“Not today, Rita. I’ll protect you all with my life, we have a mission in America, and we will make it” he said holding Rita
“What do we do?” Biola said
“We need to gather woods, we’ll make a boat and get out of here” Daniel said
“Am not going into that forest” Mark was looking scared
“Look, we wouldn’t go deep, just a little inside & get what we want”
“To make matters worse, the forest is the west and I don’t like going west or south, I prefer north or east” Mark said walking back
“I understand but it’s our only chance to get out of here” said Daniel
”Boss, we need to start now, while it’s bright, because we do not know what will happen at night” Biola said picking an axe
“Yeah, come on everyone we need to get to work, Mark, Biola, Ada and I will go get some woods, Rita, Elizabeth & Jane please clear this hut, we’ll need it, at least it’s close to the shore” Everyone started work immediately.

They fell trees and were able to split them in twos and cut them horizontally in two equal halves. They worked till it got dark, they were so hungry and they were only able to carry only two halves to shore because they were heavy.
“Tomorrow will continue, let’s rest here at the shore, we’ll get banana leaves and spread them on the sand” said Daniel
“Am so hungry, I’ve never been this hungry” ada said
“Hey, I got some bananas” Biola said, he went into the hut and came out with two big braches of bananas”
“Waw” Ada quickly grabbed some. They ate and were satisfied
“Now am thirsty” Jane said in a sad face
“We got some fresh water from a river” Daniel said; Biola went and brought the water
“Where’s the water?” Elizabeth asked
“In here” Biola said
“Are you kidding me, you collected water in our life jackets” Rita said
“Who cares?” Jane said and grabbed one, opened it and drank some but couldn’t finish it because it was much
“I Feel good” Jane said laying down on the leaves. Mark looked at Jane who was laying on the leaves with her eyes closed and smiling
“You Know? Jane is really cute” Mark whispered to Biola
“Shut up” Biola said……

The moon was shinning so bright on the sands of the beach. Everywhere looked bright and as the wind blew it sent cold into their bodies.

From the shore the forest looked scary
“The island is even scarier at night” Rita said looking at the forest, everyone was quiet as the wind blew and it was really cold.

Daniel saw ada who held her arms together like she was going to freeze. He went and sat over there with her, put his hand around her shoulder and asked her to lay on his laps; she was surprised and was shy but obeyed. He covered her with banana leaves; she smiled and closed her eyes. They all sat at the shore looking at the ocean as it rolled. Soon the ladies were all asleep, Daniel was stroking Ada’s hair gently when he remembered something
“Biola”
“Boss”
“You know, I wonder why that guy asked us not to light fire at night”
“Yeah me too, I believe there’s something out there, that’s not going to be friendly with us” Biola said looking at the jungle
“Can you guys stop talking about it?” Mark said. Daniel was quiet for some minutes and then said
“I got an idea; get the binocular from that box” Biola quickly ran back into the hut and searched in the dark and found it
“I got it” he said running back
Daniel gradually la!d Ada on the leaves and covered her with leaves
“Mark, stay with the ladies” Daniel said. He grabbed some dry woods and together with Biola they went far away from the others. He sets up the wood for lighting
“What are you doing?” Biola said
“We’ll light the fire here, then go back and observe with the binocular what happens. What do you think?” Daniel said
“Sound, fair enough”
He brought out a lighter he found in the hut and lighted the woods, they ran back to meet the others, then he watched with the binoculars and suddenly they fire went out
“What happened?” Biola asked
“I don’t know”
“Fire just don’t go out like that, except something put it out” Biola said
“I’ll be back” Daniel said and ran off again towards the fire woods; he stopped and looked around but saw nothing, he lighted it again and ran back
“What happened?”
“Nothing, maybe I didn’t light it rightly or something” he took the binoculars to see what will happen but nothing so they waited.

For the next 60secs nothing happened, Daniel looked again but nothing
“Nothing’s happening” Daniel said as he rested behind a big log of wood with the others, they arranged four logs of wood to form a square for them to stay.
“Maybe that guy was just scared” Biola said
“Let me look again” Daniel said, picked up the binocular and looked. He looked and got the greatest shock of his life
“Jesus Christ what the hell are those?” he said with fear
“What’s that” Biola said as his eyes widened
Mark collected the binoculars and looked, he was silent as he urinated on his body, the binocular dropped from his hand and he fainted. Biola picked the binocular and saw it
“I wish I never made it to this island” Biola was so scared as his eye opened wide and he was sweating
“Boss? I think they just saw us” Daniel looked and saw the creatures coming towards them. He has never been this scared in his life; they were getting closer, he quickly thought of something but nothing came to mind
“We are Finished” he said and suddenly he remembered something
“GARI TA RI VI PLAV A TAY ZI” he said and was quiet
The creatures approached and stopped right in front of him. Four women who were as black as tar, having two heads and white hair with bright red eyes and arms of snakes, they were half women and half crabs, they were completely black and they looked angry because of the fire they saw. They were as big as horses.
“There is no one here” one said
“But someone lighted the fire” another said their voices were like old women
“I put it off but they lighted it again”
“They must be around here somewhere” another said. Daniel la!d on the leaves speechless with his mouth open in fear and eyes widened. This was unbelievable
“Let’s go check the forest” the first said and they all walked away quickly into the forest
Daniel was in that position looking at the sky while he allowed his heart calm down
“Boss? They didn’t see us” Biola whispered
“I… I made a recitation that made us invisible” he said breathing heavily
“O Thank you so much. Am so grateful” Biola said in fear, breathing heavily too. They were both quiet until they slept off…..
