It became very dark about 7:00pm it was hard for them to see in the dark
“Let’s rest here” Daniel said
“It’s too dark and we can’t put on some lights” Jason said
“No we can” Milan said
“Really, how”
“Well, it should be a blue flame. Grinodes don’t go near blue flames” she said
“And what chemical combustion will give us a blue flame now” jerry said
“We don’t need that, let’s just gather woods first then I’ll do it”
“Ok, let’s gather the dry sticks around” Kent said. They gathered dry sticks and arranged it like an altar for sacrifice.
“I can’t see anyone” Jason said
“That’s because you are a blind bat” Jordan said
“Fork you” Jason replied
“Ok, now everyone move back” Milan said
“BLAZ BLIZO TRUKNZ VLA BLUS” the woods lighted with blue flames and brightened the whole place
“Wooohooo!” Jason said happily. In the dark Ada had already walked over to meet Daniel. Daniel felt someone touch his hand, he looked and saw Ada; immediately he saw her he felt like he had missed her, like it’s been long since he saw her. Ada smiled to him and said
“Up Nepa” she said holding his hand. Daniel laughed out loud, it’s been long since he laughed like this. The others wondered why he laughed like that, the haven’t seen him laugh like that
“Yeah, I agree. Up Nepa!!!” he shouted raising both hands, Ada was surprised he said that; Biola heard him say that and also laughed out loud with Jane
“Up Nepa!!!” Biola joined him
“Up Nepa!!!” Jane shouted
“Up Nepa!!!” Ada shouted, they all shouted with their hands up. Jerry and co. didn’t understand what they meant and why it was exciting
“Why are they so excited shouted that” Jerry said
“Who cares? Up Nepa!!!” Jason joined them in shouting. They laughed as Jason joined in but continued and soon Kent and Jordan joined
“UP NEPA!!!” they both shouted raising their hands in excitement. They kept shouting for joy
Daniel stopped and turned to Ada and called her
“Ada!” he said to her; the others were still shouting
“Yeah” she replied
“You have done something amazing today, you brought us excitement’ he said smiling
“Really? Thank you” she smiled at him. Daniel turned to the others and saw them dancing to “Up Nepa”, he joined in but the loud sound of a creature shunned everyone
“Don’t worry it’s just an Elup, they are fearful but cunning as Foxes” Milan said sitting on the floor.

The excitement stopped and everyone sat down, Ada sat beside Daniel not because she loves him but because she feels protected around him. They sat in a circle Ada and Milan sat beside Daniel, with Ada on the left. Biola sat with Elizabeth, Jane was sitting with Olivia, Jordan sat with Zoe and Jason, Jerry and Kent sat together
“Waw, what the hell does Up Nepa mean?” Jason was curious
“Back in Nigeria electricity was not stable, we have a power industry known popularly as NEPA meaning Nigeria Electric Power Authority.

They turn off the lights in the city and put it on when ever they thought good and this made the people miss electricity, so whenever the light comes on everyone screams “Up Nepa” in joy” Biola said smiling
“Ok, I get it you shouted Up Nepa because of the grinode light problem, huh?” Jason said smiling
“Yeah, right” Biola said and they all laughed
“Wait a minute, do you mean you don’t have power supplies even at night”
“yeah, sometimes”
“What? That barbaric, we can’t take that in America” Jerry said
“My brother, that’s America. In Nigeria you must take either you like it or not” Biola said and they laughed.
“I’ll die without electricity” Jerry said
“then you can’t live long in Nigeria” Ada said and they laughed
“So when there’s no light what do you guys do?” he asked
“We use our lanterns, candles or our home generators” Ada said
“I can’t remember when last I saw a home generator” Olivia said
“We used one 10years ago” Kent said
“really, in America? Was there no light?” Biola said
“No, it was in the woods in America when we went camping in tents”
“O I thought it was at home” Biola said
“but does that happen in STCL?’” Jason asked
“Hell no, it doesn’t. STCL has never been in darkness since it started. Light 24/7” Biola said
“Am tried, I need some rest” Jerry said
“I need some S£x” Jordan said and they laughed
“You Bytch” Zoe said to him
“You remember when Jordan Wacked your best friend” Jason said smiling
“Shut the Fork up” Zoe shouted at him…
Everyone started having private conversations
“Why do I feel like I’ve missed you?” Daniel said
“Huh, what do you mean?” Ada asked
“I mean, I feel like it’s been a long time since I saw you”
“Well, I don’t know. Am here now” she said, Daniel looked at her for a while
“Yeah, right” he said putting his hand around her shoulder and she smiled, she felt happy and just relaxed on his chest
“Everyone please we’ll all sleep close to the fire and no one should leave here, and if you wanna pee don’t go too far” Jerry said
“Yeah? Are you our nanny?” Jordan said and Jason and Zoe laughed
“Yeah, and don’t worry I’ll wake you at night so you don’t pee on your diapers” Jason said and they laughed at Jordan
“Fork you” Jordan said
“Will you guys just shut up” Kent said and they were quiet
“What do we do tomorrow?” Milan asked
“We’ll continue our Journey” Daniel said
“Is she your girlfriend?” Milan asked Daniel
“Why do you ask?” Daniel said
“Nothing, just curious. She’s all over you” she whispered to Daniel
“I heard that” Ada said with her eyes closed
“But it’s true” Milan said
“Yes, it is and so?” Ada said raising her head, Milan was silent
“Are you jealous?” ada asked
“No am not” she said angrily
“Hey, no need to get angry” Biola said
“Am not, it’s just that….” Milan paused
“Just that what?” Ada said
“Forget about it” Milan said and lay on the floor.
“Are you hungry?” Daniel asked Ada
“Yes, am very hungry” she said sadly. Daniel looked at Jerry
“Jerry, do you have anything we can eat?”
“No man am sorry. We’ll have to wait till tomorrow” he said
“Am gonna die” Ada said
“But what if I didn’t ask you” he said
“I would have tried enduring but you asked” she replied. Milan heard them
“I can make something for you to eat” she said
“Really, Please do” Ada said unserious
“How will you do that?” Daniel asked
“Magic”
“Magical food?”
“Yes” Milan said
“I don’t think it’s a good idea” Daniel said
“Hell yes it is” Ada said smiling
“Ok” Daniel said
“So?” Milan said to Ada
“So what? Do it” Ada said curiously
“what do you want to eat?” Milan asked
“Well, huumm I want some a plate of fried rice, roasted turkey and a nice juice” Ada said smiling
“What the hell, I can’t do that?” Milan said
“What’d you mean you cant do that?” Ada said angrily
“I cant give you Fried rice and a nice juice” Milan said, Ada felt disappointed
“Why” Ada asked
“Because I cant”
“what kind of a magician are you?” Ada said
“the rare one”
“Ok, what about the chicken” Ada said
“Yes I can do that” Milan said
“Well then do it” Ada said impatiently. Milan stretched out both arms and said something no one heard and a big full roasted turkey came into her hands
“WHAT THE HELL?” everyone shouted together
“Here’s your turkey” Milan said giving it to her. Ada was scared of taking it
“How the hell did you do that?” Ada asked looking scared
“What, you have your turkey?” Milan said
“ok, give it to me” Ada collected it and knew it was really and not a joke
“It’s real” she in surprise looking at Daniel who was also as stunned as everyone
“I want too” Biola said
“Me too” Jason said
“Me too” Jordan, everyone started asking for theirs
“Hey, hold your horses’ boys” she said smiling
“There is a condition” she said and Ada paused with her mouth full
“What condition?” Ada said with a mouth full and widened eyes
“Well, after 4hrs it will disappear and you’ll fill much more hungry” Milan said
“Is that all” ada said
“Yes” Milan replied and Ada continued eating
“Hey, Daniel have some” Ada gave Daniel
“No thanks am not hungry” he said, he knew that the condition would be much worse than what has been said. Milan gave to everyone except Daniel, Kent and herself
“Hey, Kent you not eating” Daniel asked
“No, I’ll pass” he said smiling
“And you Milan, are you not eating?’ Daniel asked
“No am not” she replied. They eat happily and everyone slept..
