A brand new day and everyone is sleeping except Milan who was already awake, she picked up an axe, went into the bushes and dragged some heavy branch of bananas back, she was about to go in again when Daniel saw her
“Where are you going?” he said sitting up
“I need to get more fruits or they’ll die when they wake up” she said walking away
“Wait, what do you mean they’ll die? He asked
“it’s been over 4hrs and What they ate last night would have sU-Cked up all their energy except they eat real food”
“How can you do this? You knew this and you suggested giving it to them” he said angrily
“What they were seriously hungry?’ she said
“That is no excuse” he said loudly, Kent woke up
“What’s up man” Kent said
“We need to get food for them to eat or they’ll die” Daniel said to Kent
“What? What’s going on?” Kent asked confused
“Last night’s turkey. That’s what is going on” He told Kent
“I knew something was not right about that” Kent said
“Let’s go get some more fruits” Daniel said standing up; the three went into the bushes and came back with mangoes, bananas, berries and two rabbits
“Where have you guys been?” Ada could barely speak
“We went out to get food” Milan said
“I don’t feel too good” Ada was looking really weak; she managed to sit up
Daniel didn’t say anything, he just looked at Milan and she understood him
“Ok, look you need to eat” Milan said giving her some fruits. Ada grabbed it like she had nmever had one before and devoured them. She immediately regained herself, it happened so fast
“wow, I feel good” she said with surprise. Milan looked at Daniel, he was now happy she had regained herself
“Wait a minute, why was I so weak? Or was it what you gave me last night?” Ada asked with a suspicious look. Milan was silent; she turned to look at Daniel who gave her that ”Don’t look at me” look.
“What? So it was that stupid turkey” Ada said
“What, at least I warned you” Milan said in defence
“What the hell? I was close to death, I was leaving the world gradually” Ada said
“Well, you didn’t?” Milan replied
“Really?” Ada said
“Hey ladies, that’s enough. I think we have a bigger problem” Kent said
“What is it” Ada said
“Look, the others are not waking up” Daniel said
“O my God. They are dead” Ada said aloud
“hey don’t shout, they are not” Daniel said
“they look lifeless, and they look cute lying there” Ada said smiling
“Are you serious?” Milan said.
Daniel knew something was wrong, Ada’s attitude is kind of funny
“I wanna go for a swim” Ada said smiling
“No you can’t” Milan said
“Yes I can bye” she said walking away
“Hold her” Daniel said and Kent grabbed her
“Let go of me, you big Fork” Ada said
“Kent, she’s loosing it, she’s not herself” Daniel said
“Yeah, I know” he said dragging her back
“What’s going on?” Milan asked
“I should be asking you, that” Daniel said
“Me?”
“yes you. What did you give to them?” Daniel asked
“What, they asked for food and I gave them”
“No that’s not food. What is going on” Daniel asked. Milan wasn’t expecting this to happen
“Am sorry” She said in a sad face
“You can start by telling us what’s going on here” Daniel said
“Ok, actually she is going to go mad”
“what? No we cant let that”
“Actually, she will lead us to the Demon land”
“no way in hell, we’ll find it ourselves and what about the others” Daniel said
“They’ll die if we don’t pour them salt water” Milan said
“my God, so you knew all these and you gave that to them” Daniel said
